I got an interesting message from a man who had received a poorly placed Prince Albert piercing:
I recently 2 weeks ago got a PA at what is know as a good local piercer at my town. The piercing was done with a 12g after the initial pain went away I began to feel like a blade cutting into me. By day three I saw that the hole had already stretched so I changed it to an 8g. The 8g fit right in, no pain, no more discomfort and it felt great when in use. By the end of the first week I no longer had any discharge, pain, redness, nothing. It felt like its been there all my life. I liked the piercing so much I started to read everywhere about things I could do to make it cooler or better. At one point I saw your site and did a lot of reading there. (By the way, best site on the net about piercings) I noticed that every good PA had at least past the penis glans. As you can see on the picture I sent my hole is just 1/4 inch from the tip of my urethra split. I also noticed by week two the my PA had stretched a little more. Even though I had no pain and it looked great I felt I had too little skin for the PA to remain. This picture was taken only 24hours since I took out my PA and already the piercing is closing. Now I love the PA and will do it again. So I need some opinion from you.

I had a truly great time and wondreful visits in both studios. I want to thank my hosts and their staffs for all of their assistance and support. I know it makes a lot of extra work when all of my clients come through, and they worked hard to make sure everything went smootly.
I want to also thank all of the clients who came out to get pierced by me! I hope you're all enjoying your piercings and healing well.
At this point I'm planning to return to Dallas in March, as I had a waiting list of 31 clients I was unable to accommodate with appointments because I was so booked up!
If you would like to be notified when I make travel plans, please sign up for my newsletter by typing your email address into the box on the right column on any page of this site. It is an "opt-in" list, so I can't add you myself.
If you are interested in information on how to book an appointment, check out the information here.
Here are some photos of some of the work I did on the road.

I received a message from a gentleman who was having problems with a "pubic piercing"
I would like to seek your professional opinion and consultation on my current piercing.
I have got my pubic piercing 2 months ago, but it seems to be rejected in the last few weeks (picture of initial piercing and current status are attached for your reference)
My questions are:
1. Should I take it out now and abandon the piercing? Let it healed and re-pierce later. My concern is will there be any risk to trap any bacteria in the piercing?
2. Or should I leave it there and hope it can settle with this status? The worst case will be torn out, right?
Any advice will be highly appreciated. It really makes me embarrassed as I have not encountered any piercing rejection before for all my healed piercing including PA, nipples and others…
Thanks in advance for your kind advance.

I received a lot of questions about Prince Albert piercings from a man who was interested in getting one. Below is our correspondence:
Hi Elayne...Saw you were going to be in Philly and I missed you at Infinite (I live in Conn.). I'm what you might call an "older guy (over 50) and have been putting off getting a PA for years. Well, I'm ready but I want a seasoned pro like yourself. Who might you recommend? I know there are no safe piercing.org recommended in Conn., and I'll be back in my home town of Philly in late Aug. Anyone in particular at infinite you'd recommend for a PA? Thanks much!
Sorry I missed you in Philly last month; I would have loved to pierce you. Yes, I do have a referral at Infinite, and his name is Kellan. You'll be in good hands with him. All of my referrals information is on this page of my site:
Let me know how it goes, and if you do see someone I recommend, be sure to send my warmest regards.

I received a message from a gentleman who is interested in getting a Prince Albert, but he has a low urethra and expressed concern:
I have always considered the idea of getting a PA piercing, and recently have been wanting to have something new done. My question for you though is concerning whether or not I can even have this type of piercing done.... My concern is that the opening for my urethra is very low. I will enclose the best pic I can manage to try to give you a better idea. Thanks for any insight you can provide me!

I received this message from a man who had read my book:
First I would like to thank you personally for writing such a great book on piercing. I have found it to be informative and a great support throughout my different piercings.
About six years ago I had a PA and an ampallang procedure done around the same time, my PA has stayed with me ever sense (currently stretched to a 2) but my ampallang had to be retired after only a few days. The problem I had is that my piercer suggested a long bar as an initial choice for jewelry and I have a lot of foreskin. The pressure was excrutiating. My lover believes it would be a fun piercing but I am not sure how or if this piercing will be possible considering my anatomy. I've also yet to see many images of uncut men with this piercing on the popular websites. Have you encountered this situation and can you shed some light on what us uncut men can do to have a successful chance with this piercing?

I received a message and a few photos from a gentleman who was interested in a double apadravya (he already had one):
I have read a lot about your expertise in the field of piercings. Attached is pic of my current apadravya with marks of where I would like to have a second apadravya. When I first talked to my piercer, she said that with that placement it might make it hard to heal as the top is in the corona and the bottom is in the shaft. Thus creating a movement difference. I saw pictures of a guy that got off centered RPAs and PAs for the purpose of eventually wearing them as an apadravya X. I was wondering if I could do something similar to get a PA/RPA in those spots for healing and stretching separately? Then when after healed from the final stretch put in a barbell. I don't think it would work well to do a shaft apadravya as it would be really close to my frenums.
Thanks for any advice or information you could provide.
