genital piercing

New Video Available

It has been a long time since I posted a new video on my clips4sale store.

The newest is of me performing a 10 gauge ampallang piercing (horizontally through the penis head) on a gentleman who already has a stretched Prince Albert piercing. It was shot during my visit to California last month, when I was guest piercing at Anomaly Piercing in Pasadena.

Oh, and it may surprise you to hear his comment: his nipple piercings were more intense than his ampallang (though I didn't perform them for him).

Note: it isn't SFW, and you have to be 18 years of age or older to view it.

Question About the VCH Piercing

I just received email from a reader who had a question or two about VCH piercings:
hello angel, I have emailed you before and I have your book--great book! I have been thinking about getting a VCH in a couple of weeks. I know you said in the book that you do not have to be stimulated in the clit to have this done. My question is would it be better to have this done so that I know how big the jewelry should be? I would like go  as big as I can in size. Also, can this be done without a receiving tube (free hand)? I have checked this out with a piercer and he said that it can. I would like your comments on this please. P.S. might be fun too....................karen in pa
Hi Karen, Different piercers use different techniques. I favor the receiving tube, but if your piercer is trained and experienced at freehand technique, then that should work fine. Because the piercing passes through so little tissue, the proper measurement for the jewelry is the distance between where the piercing will be placed and the edge of your clitoral hood. A skilled piercer will be able to determine the appropriate measurement with no problem. The hood area may actually shorten or draw back when you're stimulated, because it is primarily the clitoris that enlarges during arousal. (Think of how a foreskin works on a penis.) My principle is to start at a minimum gauge (14 or 12) to preserve the maximum tissue in the area and if desired, stretch later as your anatomy allows. The jewelry should fit properly when your piercing is fresh (the way it looks in the illustration in my book) and then you can go larger after healing, if you like. Good luck and let me know how it goes. Sincerely, Elayne

"Will My Piercing Close"?

This answers the common questions: how quickly will a piercing  close, and will it close completely?

Greetings, and thanks for your time in advance. I have had a VCH for about 2 years now, and my current connection has asked me to remove my piercing.  I have had the original jewelry in all this time, never once removed.  How long will it take (generally) to close up completely?  Or does it only shrink?  What kind of time frame should I expect? Thanks!

Hi Joy, Thanks for your email. The following section from my forthcoming book addresses your question:

VCH Anatomy Question

Hello! I came across your website (very informative!) and had a question. I am interested in getting a vertical hood piercing, but I am not sure if I had sufficient tissue for the piercing. I tried the cotton swab thing and although it seems like enough, I was still unsure. I would just feel strange going to a piercer, dropping drawers and them saying "sorry, no can do.". Kind of awkward. Any other ways I could make sure? Casey
Hi Casey, You're welcome to send me a photo of you doing the q-tip test, and I'd be happy to do my best to tell you whether your anatomy appears pierceable. In a piercing studio it is a daily occurrence that individuals are not suited to a particular piercing placement they desire. There is nothing to feel awkward about at all! It isn't a personal matter: each human body is unique and must be evaluated on an individual basis for suitability. A consultation before piercing for this purpose is very common. A good piercer will make you feel comfortable. He or she can also let you know what other piercings may be suited to your build, if not the one you wanted. Where are you located? Perhaps I can suggest a skilled piercer in your area. Sincerely, Angel P.S. To see video of me performing a VCH and the way the anatomy looks go here. Lost Jewelry

I got a question today that I hadn't been asked before:
Hi, I would be grateful if you could give me some advice regarding penis piercings. I have just realised that my boyfriends piercing has come off during sex.  i found the hoop part to it, but could not find the ball part. I would be grateful if you could offer me some advice as to what I should do next. Many thanks.
Hi, Is it possible that the ball was gone before you had sex and was never inside you? Even if the ball had been inside you at some point, it may have fallen out and gotten lost without your awareness. If a manual examination with your finger (or your boyfriend's finger) does reveal the missing jewelry and you have reason to believe it is inside you, or you feel stressed out over wondering, you may want to visit your gynecologist for a more thorough exam. It is extremely unlikely that the ball has gone far (for example into your cervix or uterus) as you would feel pain and cramping from a foreign object there. As they say, "What goes up, must come down" and that likely probably here as well. Let me know what happens! Angel
